It has been an honour to work with Stefni, seeing her studio nestled in the Cape Peninsula made me all the fonder of her work. Handmade jewellery and wearable art that expresses stories that are truly remarkable. The stories of our relationships with each other, and our earth. 

The Client Request 

A user-friendly content management system with the ability to display and sell items created in the studio. Hand drawn elements incorporated into the home page to reflect the Stefni brands handmade approach. 

How Stefni’s Story Writing Helps 

Stefni is a well-versed writer whose stories are rich with insight into her creative thinking. Making some simple adjustments, these posts prove to be a unique part of the brands adventurous spirit, covering topics of surfing in paradise and cycling through hell. 

The Technical Talk 

We chose to build the online store on Hostking’s WordPress Micro Package to keep monthly costs down while delivering a fast and secure website. The 1gb of storage, unlimited bandwidth, and a personalized email hello@stefni.co.za perfectly suited our needs to host a professional website. 

The content management system is WordPress, allowing Stefni to easily navigate the backend of the website to handle posts and comments. While WooCommerce lets us easily upload products and manage the sales process. While all the elements take time to set up, the result is affordable and customised to the brand’s voice.
